Mentoring

Our Mentoring services involve 1-on-1 support to help youth co-create meaning and connection in their lives.

We are at a crossroads in adolescent behavior that actually shows teenagers are ‘growing up’ more slowly than in the past. Research attributes some of this shift to an increase in connectivity with online devices, yet also an increase in depression, isolation and lack of connection to things in the world that feel exciting.

Our mentoring program is a 1-on-1 service that seeks to create Meaningful Connection with Caring Adult Mentor figures. This is done with simple engagement over the phone, video call or even in person meet-ups. Our engagement process involves understanding what has felt exciting and interesting with youth in the past, and then creating a story or “personal myth” in order to re-create the feelings of connectedness and meaning.

PLEASE NOTE that this is not therapy- if you feel your child needs therapeutic support Contact Us and we can refer you to people we trust.
