Hands-on projects can be used to teach vital skills such as teamwork and communication. Projects also allow students to apply common core concepts such as utilizing math to find measurements and english to reflect on the experience.

Students are also able to build social skills and emotional literacy from working together on something that requires clear communication, safety, and teamwork.
